Bargain shopping

Post by ketelone » Fri Apr 17, 2009 6:31 pm

A toy soldier shop that I frequent whenever I'm in the Milwaukee area is having an open house tomorrow. Since I couldn't make the open house I went to the shop today and cleaned up. I purchased multiple Britains vehicles: a Panzer, 2 Hamomags, and a T34. I also purchased a Frontline Churchill tank and a K&C Chaffee tank (Battle of the Bulge with no figures) for $30 a piece. The Britains vehicles retailed for $78 a piece. The Frontline retailed for about $90 and you can imagine the K&C price. I also purchased some pre-Firstgear Britains stuff for great prices....

That is a great deal on those pieces, I know Britains seem to go for a premium price around here.. Congrats! I am sure you'll be very happy with them..
