Do you collect 'metal' toy soldiers?
I'm curious to learn how many members collect 'metal' toy soldiers such as Britains, Conte, Figarti, Old NW, K&C, Frontline, etc. I get the impression most members are collectors of die cast or plastic air craft or vehicles.

I have a few of the FOV "Soldiers of Steel" series, they are very nice, I wish they had expanded the line though, especially the WWII versions, the detail and finish on them was oustanding for the price IMO. Other than that, everything I have is plastic. I've often looked at the 1/32 offerings from outfits like Contee, K&C, and ONTC with a wistful eye,
but I just can't bring myself to spend $80 or more on a set of 2 or 3 figures, no matter how great they look. I picked up this figure on sale at WM for $5, I only wish I could have picked up more of these FOV Soldiers of Steel, but at the time 21st was leaving WM faster than Mexicans leaving Mexico...
but even at the full retail of $9.99 I think they were a great value.

New member, first post. I have an extensive collection of 54mm metal toy soldiers including Britains, Blenheim, Marlborough, Nostalgia, Bastion, Kingcast, Edmunds....I also have 1:6 figures, mostly Dragon but some DID, ITPT, and BBI. Just started buying 21st Century 1:32 aircraft...great timing
Anyone have any leads (other than eBay) on finding a P-51D Miss Marilyn II?
