BadCat Red Devil Exclusive

Post by victory » Sat Jul 02, 2005 5:29 pm

I have been away a bit so forgive me if this has been discussed but I see BadCat is proposing a F/A-18 Red Devil exclusive from bbi. Nice paint scheme but don't know how many of these F/A-18 I can hang.

The modern jets are really nice but a bit too pricey for my budget.

I sent in a e-mail saying I'd be interested. Shots of a real Red Devils F/A-18 Hornet:

I agree, all the modern jets are aswome, but the price is way to much!
I can get (2) 21st planes and some change for one modern..or (2) bbi Mustangs for the same price and since i'm a land warrior, I rather spend the money on figures and vehicles....now if the modern planes were around the same price as the Apache and Blackhwak that would be a different story.
They planes are really nice and this Red Devils one is superb!
take care,

That is my favorite paint scheme yet on a Hornet - very nice :)
Don't think I'll be adding modern jets to my apartment save an A-10, so I surely won't be getting one but it is sweet. I just hope BC keeps in mind what happened with the Blue Angels....

It's nice, but I already have two F/A-18s and an F-16.

IMHO, there are other re-paints that would be better, like VF-84, the Jolly Rogers.

I've actually bought several sets of 1/32 decals with the thought of scaling them up, not just for the F-18, but for some of my helos as well. This project is on hold while I move and get settled in the new job.

Jolly Rodgers? I think I'd prefer VMFA-314 Black Knights over them actually.
And not just because they were stationed at near-by MCAS El Toro.
If they use the 'digital' camo for the Black Knights, that would be interesting for sure:

I really hope they make this Red Devils one. I know enough people in the SoCal area who would like one.

i didn't realize they were doing digital camo on aircraft as well. Are they doing it on tanks/military vehicles and ships too?

I e-mailed BCA and told them to count me in. I think its a great looking aircraft. Nice to see a fleet F/A-18 with a little color! (love those CAG birds!) Whats one more Hornet added to my fleet?????

Agreed! I would love to add another F-18. Unfortunatly I missed the Muraduers (sp) F-18.

Where do you folks find the space to put these big jets?

Oh yes. If I could buy every version of the F-18 I soooo would. Have all 6 Blue Angels, Golden Dragons, Muradars (sp), the Austrailian/RAAF (I believe) ones, the nighter fighter, and the Red Devils. A room for F-18s alone! He he, I would love to have them all. If only I was very wealthy!
