can anyone help with the best way to remove the painted number 77 from a wildcat? i would like to add other numbers to a few planes

I usually use Nail polish remover w/acetone to remove markings from diecast, but I have had mixed results using it on the plastic aircraft from 21st. Sometimes the acetone takes off the markings and sometimes it doesn't.

Making a Midway Wildcat perhaps? :wink:

If we don't get both of these soon, been thinking about doing that to an SBD too.

I would'nt mind knowing myself, but I suspect I'd make a mess in the removal process.
