BBI Support Weapon Team Figs online

Post by digger » Sat Oct 30, 2004 6:31 am

Hey guys, I was killing myself looking for these and then I woke up and realized I'm an idiot. They are available at Amazon. I still can't find that darn Sniper....but the rest are there. Now somebody please explain Amazon's "Tax." Are they omnipresent? They're in EVERY State of the union? What the hell...if I ever saw the exec that's behind that BS... :x

I know there is an Amazon warehouse here in Delaware so I would expect them to be all over the place. It might be that if a warehouse is in your state, you get slammed with the state sales tax. Luckily Delaware doesn't have one!

i was under the understanding that it was not TRU selling through the amazon site at all. I thought it was amazon, just using the ToysrUs name and capitalizing on it.

i could be wrong...

At the moment Amazon.Com is Toys R Us's web retail presence. So, items you see exclusively at Toys R Us you should see (eventually) at Amazon.Com too. It is also true that Amazon charges everyone sales tax for toy purchases.

Well its about bloody time!! The new figures that everyone was looking for - and either found or gave up on finding - have arrived on amazon.com! It looks like there will be a supply (probably limited) of the helicopter pilots! There's no picture, but the title indicates they may be the green ones. For those members who haven't found the pilots yet, get them while you can! I also recommend the new soldiers, which come with some great accessories!

The new troops are slightly modified so that they'r ea bit more sturdy as well.

The re-released Marines and the SPec. Force support guys that is.

If you have the 1st issue Marines you know they were prone to popping apart at the arms, but the new guys are much sturdier. Good news, and I think they maybe have their legs a LITTLE less oddly close together. They look better to me anyway.

Paint aps are better too. Camo's are much improved.

Good stuff from BBI.

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!
