Amazing 1:35 dioramas for sale. 1st look before ebay

Post by Cabe » Wed Mar 04, 2009 9:53 pm

A local Hobby shop that was run by Keith Magee was bought out last Fall. The new owner acquired these dioramas in the purchase. As you can tell Keith knows what he is doing
http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op= ... e&artid=70

The new owner is scaling back his stock to RC products, while he still plans to keep 1:35 models he wants to clear out the dioramas...and there are a ton of them, these are the 1st group. These have been featured in Model Mags, won awards, used in seminars to teach and been on display in hi store for quite some time. I am doing minor cleaning and touch ups, but no alterations or changes other than fixing the possible ravages of time , if any, these have been stored in glass display cases. I was given the task of photographing and selling these on EBay, if i had my way and they were in my possession i would hand them over to Keith. I is not a job i enjoy. But Keith did sell them with the shop so I guess he was willing to let these go as I know there were more than I see in the bunch, so he must have kept his favorites.
So i am to photograph, photoshop and prepare for eBay sale, I get 50% and have to worry about shipping (nice huh? sucky deal unless they sell what they are worth). But just having these photos will help me in my learning of the small tricks.

But I thought you guys should have a crack at them first as I clean up the pics (tables background etc.)
Some of these are just awesome.

All I ask is you make an offer. I would accept trades except the store owner would crack me over the head with my magic beans
so here is the first bunch

ALL 1:35th all undamaged, some need special care shipping but are sturdy enough to ship, anything that worries me I will secure
MAKE AN OFFER PLEASE THEY GO ON EBAY ....SOON..LIKE TOMMORROW
