Quick 21st Century Panther question....

Post by Lance Quazar » Sat Feb 28, 2009 5:32 pm

So how do you get the hatch on the very top of the turret to open?

Using a tiny screwdriver in one of the grooves, I was able to raise it a bit - it really looks like it's supposed to open...

but there doesn't seem to be a functioning hinge. It snaps back down every time I try to open it, the joint doesn't seem to work (or even really exist as a functioning piece.)

help...?

The entire hatch cover lifts straight up a bit on a pole at the corner and then rotates open to the outside.

Ah, thanks. Mine was VERY tight.

Broke off the rest of the handle, which had been damaged in transit.

(sigh...so much for resale value.)

Was a real pain to get off, but finally managed it.

Thanks for the info!
