F18 two seater ?

Post by supersonicfifi » Tue Feb 03, 2009 4:08 am

I was thinking exactly the same for a Marine 2 seater HORNET F-18 !

That could be some nice customs !

For some reasons i prefer the 2 seaters versions of jets such as F 15 or F 16 / 18 ! the same for the F 104 !

The 2 seater in nasa markings would be cool ! i saw on skyworks toys website a small picture of a custom single seater F 104 from NASA.

Hope that some of our gifted frineds will come to our rescue !

PH ?

Does the 2 seater have a longer canopy ? Or are both seats under the original sized glass ?

I don't know enough about the TF-104 here is a 1/32 scale of it. It looks like the same canopy just sliced and diced.

Does anybody know ?

It's actually quite bulbous and almost twice as long. The photo isn't so hot but the 2 aft are single seaters & it's easy to compare by just looking at the intake for reference.

It is a lot bigger isn't it ?
I can see the alure of a two seater. But wouldn't a X-15 be more appealing ? Almost the same lines ( I think) maybe an easier custom than the 2 seater. Or maybe I have no idea what I am talking about.
