Three 1:18 scale P-51D Mustang
Three 1:18 scale P-51D Mustang will be uniquely hand-painted and given away in a drawing during the 2005 San Diego Comic‑Con. One of the three planes will feature original art of 50's fashioned pin-up girl.

  Um, guys, have we heard about this :? ? Any ideas who it is? What plane? This has peaked my interest as it seems there will be at least 2 different exclusives for sale. If anyone has the scoop on which Ace we can expect it would be much appreciated :D .

I guess the bigger question is..
Who's going and how many of these can they buy?????
Maybe we'll get lucky, someone will bring a laptop and can give updates on what is being offered..

I'd love to see the new 109G S3 version.. Or a special edition of this plane..

Don't forget Israel!! :D
But you're right, I was wondering about that - is she dressed 'futuristic' or something :?

Hworth - I was thinking about that - how close is the PO to the Convention Center :D A couple of quick trips and someone could really spread the love :P

The rumors have now been confirmed! 21st Century Toys as part of the Comic Con aviation celebration, will have 3 hand painted 1:18 scale P-51 Mustang airplanes to be given away in a random drawing to attendees at the show in San Diego.

Most exciting is the news that these special paint schemes will appear on the new P-51 Mustang mold! Each paint scheme is selected and painstakingly hand crafted by Master Modeler Roy Sutherland, making every one a unique addition to any aviation collection.

Full coverage of this special event will appear on AREA-21 following the show, giving fans the first look at these amazing airplanes! Don’t miss your opportunity to have a shot at one of the legendary Mustangs, join us at Comic Con as we celebrate military aviation!
