Yes, but the fusilage showed no signs of ever being off the plastic- I'm a big boy, I'll figure something out.

is there any of the rear wheel left, or is the whole thing missing?

I might be able to find a resin one in 1/32 you can stick in there, if you plan on keeping the plane static.

edit: looked at my spare box, I have two sets of weighted FW190 wheels(the tires are depressed on the bottom which I plan on swapping onto 21st planes sometime in the future)..but no rear wheels. I don't know if anyone makes the rear tire/gear for sure but I am def keep my eyes open, if I find one I'll send it no cost to make up for my mistake of not checking out the FW before shipping it out.

The base is still there, it broke at the weakest point, I could even use another broken wheel to fix it- I probably haven't clarified it yet, but the wheel is completely missing from the box. I believe I would do terminal damage to the fw if I tried to seperate the the rear section to put a new piece in, I'd rather get another broken one and glue it in place. Some good glue and I could still raise the repaired assy up and down-

Oh, I don't think you made a mistake in not noticing, when I sent the 262, I just made sure the paint borders matched up, I didn't take it out the box either-
