New PTE! SU27, chinese stuff!
i've been looking at pics of the new pte helicopter and it's not as underscale as i first thought. The real Dauphin has a fuselage length of about 36 feet, so that translates to a model of 24 inches. From looking at the pics i'd say the pte version is about 21-22 inches; so it's not too bad scale wise. Probably 1/19 or 1/20. Given that there's zero chance of ever seeing it again in this scale i think it's worth getting. I'll probably repaint it as a coast guard helicopter.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

My thoughts exactly..... If anyone in NZ or Australia has located the Rocket Helo, please let us know. If you would be willing to grab a couple and send them over, I would gladly make it worth your troubles!CW4USARMY wrote:Anybody know if and/or when these are coming to the US? Good place on-line to order?
Thanks!
I see an MH-65C conversion in my future.

Greetings:
The Dauphin looks good as does the Flanker. The Flanker seems to me like it may be a little too short compared to the actual aircraft, but that's just from looking at the pictures. Too bad the figures are not a little bit better or improved.
Hope they come to the US, both look pretty good for what they are.

I hope you're right but if their 1/6 products are any indication many items may never make it to North America. There are items on their website (last updated in 2004!) that still haven't made it here.aferguson wrote:whoa that's a good size......almost exactly 1/18. Thanks for the info.
now i must have one...i suspect they'll be here by next christmas if not before.
