The FOV Mustang and Spitfire are TERRIBLE! I wouldn't recommend them at all unless you just want a 1/32 cheap Mustang no matter what. If you can afford it, I recommend Corgi's version. those 1/35 P-51 are also nice(in the corgi price-range)..they also do the P-40 which has push-button landing gear..can't remember the company who makes them.
As for FOV planes, I avoid them like the plague, unless they made a twin-prop plane, I don't see spending the money on their Spitfire, Mustang or 109Gs compared to 21st's price and details.

Guess I got lucky - or you guys are unlucky, mine is awesome, at least when I look at the 21C ones with paint/glue smears, finger prints in the paint etc.
