I think this King Tiger is the same as Dragon's DRR60106 regular release.

Hi,
I think the diorama (or whatever they're trying to call this thing since I till cant figure out the play on words) looks splendid and I can only assume that you have to place the wall into the base, otherwise I cant imagine what the packaging looks like if its all pre-assembled! What I dislike, however, is their constant use of taking existing vehicles/aircraft to create a "limited edition" product. In my mind, and I think I've said this before, a limited edition product is one that cannot be obtained by any other means and is not readily available from a standard production run. What they seem to be doing, of late, is turning an existing model into a deluxe version, by adding a few bells and whistles then throwing in a certificate. Frankly, I think this strategy is going to come back and haunt them if they're not careful. The limited edition line should offer a vehicle in an exclusive paint scheme and perhaps have some history behind it, not just simply stating its from such-and-such unit. Anyway, just my two pesos...

I agree Lightning.... But the only way this will come back to haunt them is if people will STOP buying them, which is unlikely right now.. I am extremely surprised that that hasn't already happened..

I dont think you can advise people not to buy an item, especially an attractive little dio like this one. Afterall, many prospective customers may not realize that the vehicle can be purchased separately at a far lower price. Also, I can see why some customers might prefer this deluxe version to the standard issue, given its 3-D appeal and potential value vis-a-vis the other limited edition releases. I'm just wondering why the sudden shift in strategy towards re-releasing vehicles already readily available in the market.

The diorama in itself is nice, but the tank is dull and boring since as everyone already said can be purchased in the regular lineup.
I know several people that haven't been buying alot of the recent ltd. ed. Cyber Hobby Dragon Armor pieces because they're just the same as the regular Dragon Armor range, with some insignificant little addition.
Unless they revert back to how they were in the beginning by having different paint schemes on the tanks and giving you something truely unique, they'll probably notice a decline in sales, and the high values some of them have gone for on Ebay will surely drop off.
