Any News on the 21C F-86?

Post by Tinman » Sat Jun 11, 2005 4:18 pm

I was among those priveledged to watch an F-86 flight demonstration at the air show here in Rochester NY today. Made me want the F-86 even more! Has anyone heard anything new about when it might be released?

Haven't heard anything - not even rumors! My guess is that if such projects as the Avenger, retooled P-51, and even the F-104 are being pushed back to late summer and fall, then it will easily be next year when we see the prototype for the F-86. Then again, there have been rumors that 21c is planning something big (say at ComicCon) so there is still hope!

Thanks, tman! 2006 seems most likely then.

LoL 2006 seems likely that we'll see the Avenger and/or the F104, if we're lucky!

I have been snooping around for infomation on those items mentioned above. It had been pretty quiet on the western front... till today! I have very rough details now, official word will be written and approved by 21st HQ but for sure PLAN on some comic con news mid week. Gotta check facts and make certain of some details. I really want quality news for everyone!

I can't wait---this was my dad's crate and I really would like to have one done up in his livery.

I HIGHLY doubt anyone would not know of what a F-86 Sabre is...
but hey, where would I be without taking a perfect opportunity to
post an aircraft photo? :-P
