New AeroArt 1:72 P-51D

Post by donnieboy » Wed Jun 08, 2005 8:25 pm

This doesn't float my boat 'cause I don't collect 1:72 stuff (he sniffed), but Aiken's airplanes (www.aikensairplanes.com) has got the first AeroArt 1:72 plane in: the P-51D. As you may know, AeroArt is coming out with the usual suspects (P-51D, Spitfire, BF-109, Zero), in 1:72, 1:48, 1:24, and 1:144 (I think). The Bf-109 will be the "E" version.
AeroArt has been promising these for about three years. Now I guess they're finally here. OnMark Aviation (www.onmarkint.com) will carry them also. BTW, Aikens Airplane is a great company to deal with(so is Onmark).

New AeroArt P-51D

hworth: Oops, my bad! OnMark's site has been promising the AeroArt planes for years, but I didn't see where they had come in. Then again, the product links on his website don't work for me (probably my Java version is too old or something).
Anyway, do you know if or when OnMark is getting in the 1:48 AeroArt planes? I'm really Jonesin' for that Bf-109E!

Onmark has actually stopped carrying the Aeroart stuff because it is basically DEAD.. Aeroart can't give production dates NOR can they even say when (or even what) it will hit the shelves..

It's too bad they are like that with this line, it wasn't half bad for their first offering.
