P51,

Just wanted to find out if you'll be posting some photos of the recent Planes of Fame Airshow on your warbirds site.

You take some great photos and it would be really cool to see your shots from this great event!

Thanks,
Rogo

Hey Rogo,
Thanks for the comments! I've got one gallery up from the airshow right now... sorta. I'm still working out the final design for the overall Airshow 2005 galleries (they have to compliment the Planes of Fame website design, which is another site I work on). The gallery up right now works, but isn't public really. It's just the basics and no real design to it. As with the last two year's airshows, afterwards I do a 'pictorial inventory' of all aircraft at the show (flying or static). That's the gallery I have up right now - http://www.warbird-photos.com/Airshow05-Aircraft/

As for the actual airshow gallery, I hope to have Day 1 up this week. I am going to start work on it tonight. I shot 28,000 photos in the 4 day span (Thursday/Friday arrivals and the two show days), so it's going to take some time to get them online and cut down to a not too insane amount :-P

28,000 Pics?

Wow! I don't think I could snap that many in a lifetime.

Anyway, thanks for posting the gallery. Great shots as usual and I'll keep checking in on the P of F site to see how the finished gallery is going.

Thanks again!
Rogo

The norm for a big airshow is about 7,000-9,000 photos... so shooting about 12,000 each day (Sat & Sun) of the show is definatly a record.

You must've got carpel tunnel in your fingers taking so many pics. Much appreciated though. I for one really enjoy looking at your pictures and look forward to the galleries.
