Is the BBI 1/32 SBD Dauntless being discontinued?---I've noticed that some dealers no longer stock the Dauntless or it's on clearance.
Does that mean BBI's other Dauntless might be its successor?

Petescollectibles.com--clearance--I think it was $29.99.
Motorpool has been sold out for a while.

DRMINDBENDER:
So does that mean the Dauntless is being discontinued and replaced by the repaint shown above?

That is where I got mine. I've bought a couple planes from them and each one, including a Double Nothin' 21st Mustang was almost perfect plus they pack well.

OK, that was actually the 1st design picture of the new 1/32 line from BBI. as for now no real decisions on the 2nd version. The wildcat will arrive to them on or about tuesday next week. So they will start shipping asap.

AMERICAN_GRENADIER:
Are you saying it's confirmed that BBI has discontinued the current Dauntless "White C46"?
If so, it would appear the "C45" (pictured above) might be the successor to the White C46.

Im just saying what i was told that my distributor is getting the last shipment from bbi next week. They were told thats it.
The picture shown has been out since before the release of the "white c46"
I talked with BBi by email and they have not decided what the next paint scheme will be.

They should make a Midway or early war Coral Sea scheme, so that I will actually want to buy one...

AMERICAN_GRENADIER:
Thanks for the info. That's interesting because, as I said before, other dealers have sold out and or have the Dauntless on clearance. It looks like it's being discontinued---although it's still a relatively new model.

Does anybody know the history of the "C45" in my original post?---is this a Midway version?
