Big Lots find in 1/18

Post by olifant » Mon Nov 17, 2008 9:54 pm

Tonight at Big Lots I ran across some new (to me at least) 1/18 figures called 'Soldier Force' for $1.50 each or $2.50 for a two pack. They are true 1/18 being sized smaller than The Corp figures and look better IMO. There is a SWAT/Iron Grenadier type guy, a modern FJ looking figure, a pretty nice modern pilot and numerous SF/Seal types I did not buy. By the same manufacturer they also had a set of four 'Adventure Heroes' with two IJ type adventurers, an angry Egyptian mummy and what looks like a devil warrior. Up side is these look good and are inexpensive, down side is there is no elbow or knee articulation and the weapons are oversized. I have pics but since my air card is dead I am writing this from my phone. :x

If interested I will post pics later.

I believe these are the Chap-Mei figures that have been circulating about for quite some time.

Here is a picture of the excellent tank they released:

One of the figures is pictured also.

Nice tank, looks like a Merkava. I hope they have it around here.

Stoped by Big Lots ont he way home tonight. Picked up one 8" howitzer for mayself and saw most everything else: tank, bridge, gun tower, command center, horse, humvees, Little Bird type chopper, and much more. I thought that it would be a neat addition for only $18.00. Most everything else was reasonable also. I think the tanks and bridge sets were around $25-$30 dollars. Almost got two Howitzers - one for each Merills Marauders set that I have. Well there's always tomorrow..... :p51:
