I was wondering if those of you that have been able to buy the new 1/18 series at Wal-Mart could post the state and store location, perhaps even Wal-Mart store number...in this post so that an email can be sent to Wal-Mart HQ regarding why other likes me cannot find the items at the local stores.
Please help those of us brothers in need of new 1/18..
post breifly, since i have been in talks with some of the WM representatives and i want to demonstrate to them that the items are really being sold around our nation's Wal-mart stores.
thanks in advance,

WM sells 1/18
You couldn't prove it by the ones here in Northern Va.
We still have a few scattered 190's but that's all.

Yes Dear, I know you said no more planes, But this one is special!

We have the "S1" Bf-109G, Graff paint scheme.. Although it's not new, it is new to Walmart.. I don't know the store numbers though..

The WM near Lynnhaven Parkway in VA Beach VA had a load of figures a couple of weeks ago and I saw 1 US halftrack.
From my observations NONE of the WM in my area are organized. I've found stuff on numerous aisles within the toy section, the sale aisle, and just laying on shelves throughout the store (obviously someone didn't really want it and layed it down).
It also appears that only a couple of stores bother putting enough of it out at one time (or someone in my AO is grabbing it as fast as it hits). I just recently picked up the "black 12" FW-190 that's been out for some time now.

Went to these WM's here in Ohio: Elyria, Medina, N. Olmsted, Strongsville, Parma, Avon and found NOTHING as far as 21C figures go. Few had one or two planes, but NO FIGURES!! This is in the Cleveland area, then went to a couple in the Akron area and guess what? NOTHING THERE EITHER!!! I poke fun out of the workers in the toy sections, but I won't any more. Think about it....you get what you PAY for! My editorial comment for today...............

Over the last few weeks I've had a chance to check several WMs in Upstate NY and NOTHING new in 1/18 - no figures, no halftracks, nada!

Nothing in 1:18 aircraft except the same 6 190's in various conditions of disrepair, but still at full price for more than 5-months. I checked the stores here in the Bellingham and Mount Vernon, WA areas, nothing, nada, zilch. Never has been much of anything from 21st here for quite awhile now. Is 21st still alive in the Wm system, I don't think so.

Only new items I've seen here in the Northern CA WM's were the 1/32 King Tigers. We still have the FW 190's lying around and some Spitfires that are now covered with a good coat of dust. .

Only able to find 190's and a few P-47 Bubbletops around Central Texas. I woulod love to let the "Powers that Be" know that distribution could be better. Rotating stock etc. Also, in case assts. they could mix them up a bit more and not all FW 190's.

I'm in Utah.
I was able to purchase Graf 109 G6, which I believe is my fave XD plane. I've passed on the two Bubble Tops.
I was really glad to get the Tropical and Galland 109's.

Like someone else mentioned above, absolutely nothing in Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs with regards to the new wave of 1/18 (BoB, Marines, etc...). However, I made a road trip down to Richmond, VA this past weekend and made it a point to drop off at every single WM that was easily accessible from the highway (I even have this handy atlas I bought at a local WM that displays EVERY single WM and Sam's in the country!) The vast majority of the WMs had nothing new, but a cluster of four WMs north of Richmond all had the "new" figs, halftracks, M41, and a few Panzer IVs. Purchased as much as the trunk of my car could hold. The panzers seem to be selling well - could only find one WM that had them still and I got lucky finding that one bc it was in one of those return bins at the customer service desk in front of the store. I was also amazed to find that the M41s are only $23 -- same price as the halftracks!
Regarding the spotty distribution of the new stuff, I recall reading a thread on the board where a 21st rep said that the new stuff would only be sent to the WMs near military bases for now and that we would se a wider distribution come August.

North Alabama WMs have been a wasteland for the past two years, with a few Tigers, Shermans, Spits, and P-47s rotting on the shelves (with no discounts of course). Even our "one foot in the grave" Toys R Us outlets are more reliable......

In Vancouver Washington there is only FW190d's, nothing else. The worst selection of 21st Century products I've ever seen in Walmart.
