Good point! I've got a number of pictures to send them - and they could recycle some of the photos from the USMC Photo Contest in that section.

Dang you have good eyes! Yes there is going to be a Fan Gallery page! I am about finished with it. I think by Tuesday - Wednesday I will have it all worked out. Once that is accomplished I will write a news article with instructions on how to provide images and other details!

The SECRET PROJECTS Page will be back in another web update very soon. It will finally be populated with images I have now!

Sorry things have been a little bottle-necked on the site guys! there is plenty of news that I have been hsving to sit on to ensure proper details. Once I have the final most correct versions There will several cool things for fans! I promise you it has been quiet for a reason and its not because things aren't happening! I can't say more now but very soon.

Get your fan images collected! I will be showing my entire plane collection all in one photo! Kinda cool to have a personal airforce!

TKO, that sounds great. Thanks and take your time, this is just a hobby. Just kidding. Re: Secret Projects ... Is there a 1/18th King or Jagdtiger in the works? I think 21st could do a fine job as with their Tiger I of a few years ago.

Well, TKO has got his collection picture up on the 21c website fan page - quite impressive, and those planes look awesome in the angled sunlight! Any way we fans can get pictures of our collections and dioramas up now? Thanks!

Nice pictures from the Area 21 President posted on the 21 Century website:

I counted some extra aircraft that I have never seen before. The shot showing the row of Corsairs... the second one in from the bottom... with the star but no bars... never seen that one before. What’s the scoop on that?

I also count 5 FW-190s… is the fifth one the new euro version?

I count 11 P-47s… I thought there were only the 6 razorbacks and the 3 bubble tops which = 9?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Some are custom jobs, such as the light-blue Corsair.

-EYES LIKE A HAWK! and yes you are correct on all counts minus the Euro version FW 190. I am still trying to nail that one down.

I am still working out details on how to receive and post other fans pics up. I can tell you to get your photos ready though as we are going to go full boar with this section....this week? Mine was the test. I promise not to hog the space up!

In those photos there are 2 custom Razor back P-47's (a red checker tail- and a custom plane base on similar markings of the Peg o my heart). There is 1 custom FW-190 D9, and my FAVORITE... the Lighter blue Corsair... I know, I know it isn't accurate and It isn't a bird cage version but it was a FUN project. The best part about that Corsair, it that it features an electric motor prop along with working navigation lights in the wings. It used to be an RAF version but once I cracked her open it needed some serious help in the paint department. I do these once in a while as I wait for new product. Thanks for the comments.

Well that is a funny question... As it turns out my neighbor was having an open house that same day as he was selling his house. So not only did the neighbors all come out to throw out comments but complete strangers came over to have a peek! I think it made the Realtor mad, and looking back I could have picked a better day. Anyway they ended up selling the house anyway so who cares right?

Well my wife was so embarrased she hid in the house a looked out the window! A couple Neighbors came over to reflect on the by gone days of child hood model building. One guy aske me when I was going to turn them on and fly them? I guess he thought they were RC. Then I didn't help to pull out my digital SLR camera. I snapped so many pics people started to ask what it was all for. I felt kinda dumb for a minute so in the best most professional voice I said... Well I do work for major toy company blah blah blah, and I need to do this as product research... They all disbanded wondering what I really do for a living.

It took me another 45 minutes to put them all back on prototype custom displays designed to save MAJOR room which as you can tell is a big issue with this collection! (reference the old toy fair images to see an example) These displays are soooo nice for large collections. Someday I think 21st will offer them to the masses. There needs to be some evaluation and good support to make these affordable. But it can be done.

First thoughts were... Oh my gosh... what if a car pulls into or backs out of your drive way? Great excuse for the wifey to get rid of your fine collection. (forgive me for having such evil thoughts)

Insanity is all part of this hobby - I love it when people ask if the planes are R/C. 21c's product is that big and looks that good! Perhaps this summer I'll do a driveway setup with all the planes, tanks and figures, but my neighbors are used to seeing quirky stuff at my house, given all the times I've cleaned Scuba gear on my driveway...

Great picture of the collection. I got all of mine out not too long ago to take pictures, but I did it in the back yard. I just didn't want to have to explain to my neighbors why a grown man needs 20 toy airplanes. I'm also glad to see that I am not the only one who does custom paint jobs when I get tired of waiting for new stuff.
Let us know when and how to post pics on the fan club site and I'll stick a few of mine on there.

TKO -

After surviving yet another battle with my wife over my latest Me109 G6 purchase, I attached your pictures to an email to my wife stating "Look, honey. I mowed the lawn!". I think she had a heart attack...

That is really funny! I hope you aren't in the dog house for too long...

My wife was so embarrassed when I took those photos, she just looked out the window and shook her head! It's fun to keep neighbors guessing about what it is I am doing. And in case anyone was curious, I had disabled the garage door prior to the show of arms!

Plastic planes and motorized vehicles are never supposed to battle it out.

Oh and my wife saw pics of your collection... HER words " Don't Even Think Of It"
She Loves 1/18th air and armor... She just doesn't know it yet. :) Kidding, Mrs. Normandy and our son have given me more than half of my 1/18th collection.
