I've spotted the jungle cutter with the 3 figures. Probably will be a shelf sitter as well since they were stacked right next to the jungle cutters without the figures which have been on the shelves for quite some time now.

I found the Indy Tank Showdown at Target today, $19.99. It was the only way I could get the Prof. Henry Jones and Vogel figures.

I got the tank showdown set for $15.99 the week the Indy DVD came out. I got a free $5 off gift card as well. So that brought it down to $10.99.

My son and I have found all of the last crusade wave except for Elsa. Does anyone know if she is not as frequent in revision cases, if there are any? We went to a brand new target on the first day, at the minute of opening. My son was the first into the toy aisle, beating the 30+ year olds by a hair and he didn't spot an Elsa figure. I gather that an employee snagged it. Is this figure particularly hard to find?
After that we just need to find the temple of doom wave, just like everyone else though... :P

He's also anxious to add the soft top cargo truck to his collection of Indy and XD figures.
Best,
-Paul

I know Vogel seems to be the hardest to find. Elsa may be 2nd hardest.
I haven't seen any Temple of Doom figs yet in my area.

The only 3rd wave stuff I have found is the Indy with MG, Young Indy and Professer(senoir) Indy. I noticed that the Senior Indy and the German officer(forget his name) are different in the multiple figure sets. Senior Indy doesn't have a hat and glasses and the German officer has a gun molded into his hand.

Not sure what you mean by "gun molded into his hand". I have 2 of the sets, one of which I opened, and the gun is removable.

Didn't know that the Elsa was hard to find. I went by a out-of-the-way WM on Sat. and they had a peg worth of them.

I've never seen Elsa, Henry or Vogel in the wild (not counting the awesome battle pack, which I bought.)

Until yesterday. Amazingly enough, found a bulk of LC figures - Young Indy, Knight, Indy and Elsa!

Weird that my Target is getting in LC cases at this point....

Saw the new figure packs at Target today :D The look great, but all the figures are re-releases and I don't need any of them, having already gotten the carded versions. So, I passed.

OK, I hadn't seen where anybody has spotted Mutt Williams on a Motorcycle. So I am posting this.
Was in K-Mart today and saw One on the pegs. They didn't have much of a IJ selection, but was suprised to see this one! Only vehicle they had was the Troop Car and a handful of figures.

I haven't posted for awhile but now i'm getting frustrated. i went to 2 walmarts and 3 targets to find the same stuff. the only figure i find from the last crusade is indy with whip action. i have seen the tank scene but i want the figures by themselves. i did see the jungle cutter with the 3 figures. out here in the Northeast of the USA we still see the old figures and they barely move now. they have the figures spread out all over the toy section of walmarts. i go digging thru them and find nothing. i'm getting frustrated. I have seen the Mutt on motorcycle out here ONCE.

Cool! Post some comparison pics (if you have both trucks).
Some else had found the cloth truck and passed or said it wasn't that great.
Thanks for the good recon!

does it have ribs for a realistic top down look? I can't see how cloth will look more realistic than molded plastic.

I wouldn't look for that level of realism out of it... It's a different deco (slightly) and is meant to be the truck from the streets of cairo that gets blown up when it tips over and Indy thinks Marion is inside it... Basically it's Hasbro giving a fan wank by repainting the truck the only way they basically can, and giving it a cloth top incase collectors prefer that over the molded top.

Personally I think if you're getting it to go with your troops, make your own back/top to it. Someone did a dandy custom with wood rails on the side, and a camo D-Day-ish looking paintjob. I loved that custom.

I could see someone doing a great canvas top with ribbing... Me, I am hoping I can find one of these a little later as money's tight. I would like a couple trucks for my XD guys to cruise in.

Found another Standartenführer Vogel at the Ft. Campbell PX. I'll save this one for a trade.

There have been a couple of the "canvas top" trucks at one Target store in my area and I picked one up before seeing Grunt's post. I am impressed with the top and think that Hasbro did a good job with it. The cloth was tight on the frame and the whole piece is sturdy and stays on the bed well. The actual product looked better than the picture on the box. I still think that the plastic top captures the little details better, but the cloth top adds some variety. The truck body should have been given a repaint, however

Thanks for the pics of the comparison. Haven't seen the cloth top trucks in our area yet.
I have several of the plastic top trucks and was wondering if anybody has thought of glueing cloth to the plastic top? I have also thought about spraying the top with the "Suede" paint to give it texture. I will probably try this sometime to see what it looks like. Any thoughts?
