What's next?
I was thinking about a grain tower, turntable, and a lift bridge.
The bridge will have to be on the other side of the room. The bridge's center span will have to be the width of my washer and dryer.
It also will have electric motors to raise it. (I can finally put my degree to some use.)
For now, I'm going to make some more military customs.

I've been on vacation this last week and started another project.

I just found this on E-Bay tonight. It's a Buddy L switch tower.
I had no idea that they ever made one.
It looks alot like mine. I copied an H/O scale one to build mine.

I made some wheel chocks for my trucks and jeeps this week. I got tired of them rolling off of the flatcars every time I tried moving them. They work good. I can fit two WC-51's on a flatcar, or a jeep with a halftrack, or just one tank.

I chained the Shermans to the flatcar. I had to drill out holes on the front and back to connect the chains.

Six flatcars loaded up.

This was a small project to fill the time before I finish my grain elevator.
Thanks for looking, Kevin.

These are some of my reference pics. Maybe this could help you out Momaw.
The tigers seem to be a little wider than the flatcar. I don't know the difference in widths of standard German and U.S. railcars.

Panthers.

Wheel chocks. I should of posted this with my last pics.

Not sure what kind of tanks these are.

Shermans on special flatcars. If I ever get some extra axles I'll make a couple of these. The 1/18 Sherman is the same width as the Buddy L flatcar. The Tiger is two inches wider.

I'm just about done with my grain elevator.
Here's some more pics.
I started with some cardboard tubes I got from Lowe's to make the bins.
The framework made with square wood dowels.

I glued foambord to the frame, then glued it all together on a base.

I bought the sheets of brick from Menard's to finish it off.
Overall dimensions:
H-52"
W-33"
D-9"

This is the picture I googled to start this project. This is in Beach ND. I didn't try to make mine exactly the same, I only have so much room in my basement.

Thanks for looking. Kevin.
