An XD plane came up on our local auction site (British Corsair)I figured I'd pick it up, but hell, its up to $167 already, and trust me, a buck is a buck! :shock:

consider surface mail shipping. Takes a few weeks but costs about 1/3 of air.

I'm convinced that a few weeks in the "system" makes it that much more likely the package will be lost or broken. I avoid Parcel Post domestically for the same reason - 7 days in the system almost guarantees a package gets beat to hell....

i send stuff surface all the time....never had a problem. I've even sent Corsairs all round the world. It's just slow, but still quite reliable. The only thing i wouldnt send by surface is something really tiny.....they can get lost but otherwise it's good.

Yeah,I'll pass on that one an stick to one line stores/ebay/this board for new birds. I managed to find a supplier here who can have 1/6th stuarts sent direct from China (leftover from a production run), so I'm getting one of them
