Is the 21st Century 48th scale F6F Hellcat model being sold in stores? I see them online, but I was wondering if they are sold is stores also.

Yes, I've picked one up at TRU. They're quite nice but ordinance is not removable. Other than that they're great.

If so, this is the first I have heard of these showing up outside the Etailers.
I bought mine from Badcat when they first came out because I didn't want to wait.

Really? I got mine about a month ago. They had both versions alongside the Tony, which I knew guys had found. I was almost 100% sure someone had found a Hellcat.

Mine came from Michigan Toy Soldier. I have never seen one at a standard retailer.

Well they didn't have anymore today.

So someone else liked 'em.

Additionally, we need pilot figures for these planes. I found a place in France that makes various seated 1:48 pilot figures. I picked out ten I needed and tried the shopping cart with shipping and it came out to almost $200!
I hate pilotless planes...
