In kit form, but it is something new and definitely big!

well this is a surprise.

wonder how much it will cost.

looking at my 190F and 109G unboxed, how big is this thing going to be?

Just think what some of our custom airguys could do with this baby.

I still have Revell's 1/32, 110G and Beufighter in the boxes still, haven't had the urge to build a plane in years. IIRC last one was a 1/72 He111H-22 when I was 18 or so.

That's it. I need to start building kits, pronto! Ju-88 just cuts the cake, my god it's beautiful! No more messing with spraypaint and the like, no sir. I've put an airbrush on my list of goals to save for once I've secured a job. Seriously, 110s and Beaus in 1:32? I'm gonna start modelling. Although it is expensive, I should. Like hell we'll see a Beau Mk X in pre-built 1:32.

I mean hell, we should have had a P-38 by now, and a 110.

I'm just wondering where I'd put such big damn planes. I'm already limited as to where I can display. Of course, the walls are always open, but closing quick...

yea Revell has a couple 110s in 32, Dragon has two hi-tech 110s C and D, and yea Spits, I-16s, P-36, F8F, He-162, westand Lysander, D.520s, MS 406, Brewster Buffalos and more come in the scale in kit form.

This month Squadron.com has Revell 1/32 40% certain kits..Lysander, Tiger Moth, RAF P-51B, Beufighter Mk1F(15.99 ea IIRC)

I know that there must be some model builders willing to build on consignment. Harry, I know you have done this in the past. What would be a fair price to offer someone for the build and paint?

I think this depends on the quality of work and the size of the project. Most consignment builders would probably start this in the $250 range and go up from there.

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

 Yikes! Thanks Harry. I either need an airbrush and some practice or find a source of modellers who work for pesos, lira or yuan!

I know, any modeler worth his salt is going to spend 10-25 hours on this and I would have to pay for their skill...

I agree. Most of materials and time. But in the end is the talent involved.if you want thick brushed on paint, with poor masking and bad decals or if you want a correct scheme with airbrushed thinned paint, masked for the correct camo patteren, correct unit markings or custom unit markings, those are going to be the major price differance.
