I drive by one on display every day at work, but only knew it was a Marine something or other. Thanks for the question and the answer. (Now I know!)

I work at Fort Leonard Wood (MO) (Army post), and all branches in addition to the Army have some kind of training here. (Navy, Marines, Air Force, and even Coast Guard) Along with the LVTP in the display, we have an M-1 Abrams, an A-10 Warthog, a small Coast Guard boat, and a big anchor. I guess we couldn't fit an aircraft carrier :wink:
