I just sold one on ebay for over $140, which greatly surprised me, I would have been happy to get what I had in it plus a little extra. I realize things often sell for considerably more on ebay than we originally paid at retail, but I had no idea these were in such demand. The bidding was hot and heavy and nearly a dozen people had bids in at the end...

Sheesh, wish now I had picked up a couple more of these things...

Sold out item, never seen in your area, yeah makes sense where the bidding went.
Not Super Cobra or Huey prices, but sounds like you more than doubled your money.

I bought this at Target about 7-8 months ago as best that I recall, I can't remember for absolute certain but I don't think I paid more than $40 for it...I think it went for 34.95 plus tax... funny thing is, that was around the time my local tarjay was scaling back and eliminating all the BBI 1/18 stuff, there were about a dozen of these along with Blackhawks, and they weren't exactly flying off the shelves (no pun intended) I'm sure I could have gone back there 2 weeks later and picked up a couple more, maybe even on clearance....

Sounds like you did REALLY well then.
Me, i scoff at the prospect of paying more than 25 bucks for a Bbi AH-6.

I bought one on clearance for $20. I had been meaning to get the Blackhawk, but waited too long.
The regular price was $29 in my area. That's $10 cheaper than the 21st Century planes.
These helecopters were on the Target shelves just last year and now they are super hot items.

Well since I have no takers for trades on mine I guess I should just eBay them since they are doing so well. I might be able to get 2 me 262's instead of just one.

Yeah, too bad I haven't been here long enough to do any trading.
One of these days though.

I have noticed the Blackhawks have been selling for huge money also. I am surprised more are not offered after the big Target sell-off.

I got my sharkmouth on a whim one day. I had extra cash, a budding collection, it was $30 and I got it. Glad I did.
