Greetings:
I want to raise some extra funds for some school supplies for my classroom (they drastically cut our budget this year) and figured I would put this model up for sale here and see if anyone would be interested in it. I feel my students needs are more important than my model collection and can afford to let this one go to a good home.
This is an Authentic Models Gee Bee. It's an old fashioned style model with balsa and tissue and aluminum covering. It measures 23.5 inches wingtip to wingtip. Authentic Models lists it as 1/12 scale. It is nicely detailed and is one of my cooler models. The models is in good shape but could use a little red touch up on the one wheel spat as some of the red paint rubbed off. I left it go as it looked more historic looking as it was. Model is in as bought new condition otherwise.
I'm asking $225 for it. That prices includes shipping. I will be insuring this model due to its value. I paid quite a bit more for it but want it to a good home and need the extra cash for supplies so I am willing to let it go for the stated price and make someone happy. If anyone makes an offer I will consider that as well. This will be first come, first served.
I accept paypal and money orders. Due to size it may take some time to ship this model, I do pack very well.
I can't sell this internationally as it would be extremely difficult and expensive to ship it overseas.
Anyone interested please send a PM.

Man, that would be so cool with my other planes! I wish I had the cash. What supplies do you need? Maybe the members can send some in? I dont have a problem sending school supplies cause when I was overseas, people that I didnt know would send me stuff. I think You guys (teachers) are very important to our societyand should be supported way better than we are doing now.

Greetings
Thanks for the generous offers guys, fortunately I am going to be okay for supplies for now anyway, my very generous parents bought me a whole boatload of stuff for my classroom and several of my students parents also donated things.
Still looking to sell this as now I just need the room for my Blue Angels Hornet and some other stuff in storage.
I will let this go now for $150 or best offer.
Anyone interested please pm. Thanks
Corey
