EBay FW 190D-9 Question

Post by Buckyroo » Sat Sep 06, 2008 1:59 pm

There is an Ebay FW 190D-9 that I couldn't place the markings. The seller was able to send pictures of the "new out of the box 190". Enlarge the area just above the wing to see something this plane has that my planes do not (a 9-volt plug). Also, I haven't seen one come with radio wires.

Something else that I noticed while comparing my 190's to this; My Michaelski has yellow triangle markings on the side just like all my others and this one on Ebay, but on my Michaelski the triangles are almost twice as big as the triangle on any other of my 190's. Didn't know if anyone else noticed this variation.

This is a custom.. The paint and additional stuff aren't from 21st Century, probably from the current owner.

Yes it looks like he may have put an on and off switch on it. Maybe the prop spins!!!

I bid on this item and then retracted after he sent me the photos. He sent 5 photos which I looked over very closely. After reviewing them I retracted and the seller had the nerve to email and critisize what I did. Here take a look at the listing and his claims. I will also include his supplied photos. May be a good plane for one who wants a customized plane. That is not what I was after, and I didn't need the attitude.

BEWARE OF THIS SELLER!!!!!!!!
