Here are a couple of Austrailian exclusive BBI 51s up for bid on ebay.

The dealer sold them for $150 each a few years ago. Back then if you got one each he nocked off $25 for the pair. They were harder to get than the white Zero that Bad Cat sold. I wonder if they will out sell the Zero ?

If the numbers are correct wouldn't that make the RAAF Mustangs to be produced in fewer numbers than the white zero?

I got both of these from the hobby shop that commisioned these down under a coupla winters ago. They were exclusive commissions of that shop (I don't remember the name, however), similar to what BadCat has done.

The 250 produced sounds right. IIRC the two of them delivered was just under $500. This is the first time that I've heard of anyone offering these other than that original hobby shop.

They also had two aussie f-18's from bbi in different sqdn markings that they also commissioned.

The name of the shop was

http://www.mibglobal.com.au/

I also bought those P-51´s about 2 years ago and another one early this year. I think they had them for quite some time in their shop and have been sold out with the last few models only recently....

Greetings
