FoV AAVP

Post by Der Kommandant » Thu Sep 04, 2008 6:58 pm

Just got it in the mail today, ordered off Target.com. Wonderful, detailed model, with some well-sculpted Marines (except the corporal whose SAW had no barrel  ).
Two questions for anyone in the know: where do you find extra baggage, cheap? The AAV baggage kit went for thirty odd dollars, about as much as what the vehicle cost. Secondly, what unit does this Phib belong too? As with all of the newer FoV releases, they don't tell you the vehicle's unit. Anyone know? Any answers would be helpful. Thanks.

Not sure on the unit info, but you can still find the FOV accessory packs that were out a couple of years ago. They had a modern one and two WWII versions. The modern set is still available from a reputable online retailer, goodstufftogo: http://www.goodstufftogo.net/html/catalog1.asp?ID=450

As you can see from the picture, the set comes with quite a bit, including packs, stowage, crates, jerry cans, ammo cans, small weapons, the TOW launcher, and sandbags. I used a couple of these sets to outfit my modern vehicles, especially the M2 Bradley and the AAVP. Well worth the $11 price 8)
