Quick Opinions Please
I was wondering if any of you had anything to say on the FOV whitewashed panzer IV that came out in 2007.
Any pics would be great; I couldn't find to many on the internet.
thanks

You mean the one with the schurtzen? Beautiful tank as I love the PZ IV, especially with the skirts but mine had a lot of problems with broken skirt framework and I had to re-attach a few of the points where it joined with the hull. Also the armor around the turret was misaligned and the two doors on the side that open to allow access to the turret side hatch wouldn't close properly because of it.NHoggard12 wrote:I was wondering if any of you had anything to say on the FOV whitewashed panzer IV that came out in 2007.

I've heard others had the same problems but I'm sure there are plenty of good examples out there. It was really nicely weathered and like I said it is a great looking model. I eventually sold mine but I will probably pick up another version of the PZ IV.

I'd go back to their earliest releases. The first Tigers, Stug-IIIs, M-16s, etc etc Beautiful models that have poor quality control. Bent mgs, wrong parts/accessories, improper fits....

That is the one. It seems that the gun barrel is too short on these models.

I have the S1 version and it is an absolute piece of art, one of FOVs best efforts. I can't speak to quality on this winter version, but I would highly recommend one based on my model. Mine really leaves anything 21C has done in the dust. And it weighs about three pounds with it's real metal content. Goodness, I miss cold steel.
