I don't think I will ever buy another plane unless it is a 2 engine job such as: a Do-117, Henkel 111, B-25 or C-47. The C-47 would be a nice thing to display in a dio with Para guys. Also the 3 engine FW- ? the the Huns had would also be a cool addition to our scale

I'd buy a couple of those

Aviatornut.com said,
" BUT I DO HAVE GOOD NEWS. Looks like we have a new factory that will import 1/18 scale airplanes. This new company will be producing their aircraft to a higher standard with opening engine bays and ect. Once I get permission to post pictures of the planes I will.
In conclusion we will be seeing more customs and 1/18 scale planes built at a higher level along with the typical repaints..."
I don't know what, if any, BBI's all-new 1/18 planes will be, but here's the list of BBI planes that could be re-released as repaints/customized versions:
1. F/A-18
2. F-16
3. AH-6
4. MH-6
5. OH-58
6. AH-64
7. UH-60
8. MH-60
9. F6F
10. F4U
11. P-51
12. BF-109
13. Zero

you mean the 3 engine Ju-52/3m Blasto? and not the 3 engine FW...unless it's a Kondor with a engine out.
for a twin, I'd say a Henshel 129B or Me 110C-7 would be the most able due to size(and since as Dragon/Tamiya as proved for decades) german stuff sells...maybe a Do 17z or a He 115 twin engine since these are small bombers(the heinkel being a float-plane torp bomber it could rival the TBF/TBM)

after reading this the "great news" seems more like a baiter/tease than any real news.
Sorry I want something I can see, no more promises..1:18 Promises seem to be worth as much as the Adolf Hitler's in 1938

Yeah, your right, I don't remember the proper model of that 3 engine German transport plane. But it was cool with the corrigated sides and 3 engines

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

yes it would be very cool... and would be a useful addition in the 1:18 world...for FJs or anything else...more so than the TBF...I mean a carrier borne Torp plane WTF 21st?
hell the 1:18 V1 is a hella of lot cooler than the TBF and more useful to boot in the realm IMO. and Cheaper and will less problems/breakage.

yea So would I...or if anything came out new..and was under 100$(not to kill the customs)
I'd love the 1:18 Me163 in JG400 scheme...but the price is too much.
I love the latest piece of 18 luv I got the V1 for 30$..can't beat that price.
although over a King Tiger I rather see a Pz III(L,M or N) model.

a new plane that makes a splash? I just realized that there seems to be a wildcat chasing the bbi zero on the Badcat aviation title banner. Might this be a hint?

That would be totally cool !!!
Yeah it's ugly-cute, but such an important airplane some don't realize how important it was before 1943.
The Hellcat gets most of the credit.
I just love seeing the movie "Midway" with footage of Hellcats taking off and landing.

There were no Hellcats at the Battle of Midway! All the Navy fighters were Wildcats!

GUYS:
Since BBI is releasing the Swett 1/32 F4F Wildcat in the future, I doubt the upcoming 1/18 plane will be an F4F.
If the new 1/18 is an entirely new plane, my personal choice would be a Gabreski P-47D Thunderbolt. If it's going to be a repaint, the "splash" (assuming "splash" is taken literally) might refer to the Navy/USMC F/A-18 or another F4U or F6F.
