ya think the custom Hitler on ebay was bannable?

Post by Cabe » Fri Aug 01, 2008 2:35 am

try this little play set for your "about to be confused and warped for life" child

you think this item is pushing the limits of Ebay's Nazi imagery policies?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... SS:US:1123
Let's see:
German ww2 imagery check
Hitler in full brown Nazi dress check
Box art depicting swastikas check
artist's rendering of a still from "Triumph of the will" check
Saluting throngs of SS stormtroopers check
figurers posed in Nazi salutes and engaging in a Nazi party rally check

Fact that it is an extremely rare antique collector's item but will be yanked by ebay for posting an offensive auction with an item that both the product's box cover and molded contents depict a toy procession begat of a demon's bowels of Nazism vomited all into one neat package? pending

oh yeah, SS symbols/banners check
a NSDAP banner with DEUTSCHLAND ERWATCH"
check

and notice that he has intentionally misspelled Hitler's name when written so it throws of the scent of the ebay Nazi Hunters.

There are 1,656 items liste under the name Hitler, 151 items listed under the term nazis, drop the plural and you get 273 Nazi items, 34 items listed under the Waffen-SS, 96 listed under nazi swastika, 115 under just swastika, with most of them being nazi related coins and stamps.

There is also 10 items found for MEIN KAMPF Propaganda for demonizing segregating and dehumanizing Jews and going to war with europe.

While there is a small portion of anti Nazi and anti Hitler no doubt it’s still getting a pass.

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

If someone says it shouldn't sold....its as if the history never happened. I've never liked ebays polices on WWII German Regalia.
