What did I miss?

Post by Sabrefan » Tue Jul 15, 2008 8:27 am

I have been gone for a while, anything new in 1/18th scale? I was hoping for some F-86 repaints. :D

Now that is awesome! I think often of an 18th scale F-100 Super Sabre. Wow, that is nice! :D

I would pick up an F-100 Super Saber in a heartbeat, especially if it was in 1/32.

Welcome back. The most exciting thing in the 1/18th world so far is the upcoming BBI BF-109G2

But aside from that....

Good job, that BBI 32nd scale F-4J is a beauty. I am glad you got one.

You might want to try here...http://www.greatmodels.com/...

They have the Tamiya F4C/D and the F4J 1/32nd kits for $105 apiece. Piecey, but exceptional detailing.

Thank you Folkwulfe !! I have looked at the models you say and find them a little out of my price range for somthing you have to put together and paint, and if you do not take your time and do a good job it shows real quick, i have see lots, but thank you for the information, Ravell makes a real nice F4 in 1/32 that if done right looks as good as the Tamiya almost!! but the Ravell is max 40 dollers, a real difference in price. I plan on making it in camo, Viet Nam colors and if it turns out good ill also do the F-14 and F15, If we can not get the modern birds from somewhere I guess it leaves us little choice!! Just a little note!! at the BX today they had 1/12 F16 detaled cockpit kits for sale at 19.00 No tax, a month ago they were at 30, I may go back in a week and if they go any lower I may get one :) :hornet:
