Hitler Custom on evilbay

Post by Stug45 » Sat Jul 05, 2008 4:54 am

The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

This will be something to watch to see if Ebay:
A- Bans the listing and takes it down
or
B- Let the listing stay up
-B1- if the listing stays up, how much will it sell for?

There is no word, Hitler, German or Nazi in the listing, so in theory, the banning Ebayers wouldn't hit on it by doing a search. Someone like us would be only ones to find it looking for: 1/18 or Ultimate soldier items.

Interesting...

They may not shut it down. He does not have the pin wheel on the arm and pennants.

I thought they were going to cancel an auction that had a 1/32 Folke Wolf FW 190 complete with Nazi banners hanging behind it.
I'm a legend in my own mind.

That's interesting, I've been leaving the SS runes off of my customs, for fear that the auctions would be pulled.

yes make one, but I bet it would sell like a hotcakes if you took a Terrel Owens McFarlane figure or just put a T.O.jersey on him to commemorate his love for the Dallas Cowboys.
(seriously, I think even non-collectors would buy it)
here is some historical footage to work from

I hope it was worth it. $125+ for one figure is just too high

Yes, and then every self-righteous SOB can have Hasbro reprimanded and boycotted, blah blah. I don't approve of what the Nazis did, but hell, it's called averting your GD eyes. Oh no! A German action figure with SS runes! You don't start a riot about it because you failed at life and want to try and feel good about your pathetic existence, so you go out and discriminate and hate every mother [guess the word] that gets in your way... Lest we forget that's a big part of what facism is, censorship...

Rant, over...

Well, I think we can all agree on what would happen if Hasbro released Hitler. Well said.
