It's really not all that surprising that he got a bid.... as the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and we've seen this kind of thing take place on ebay many times. I would be curious to see what his contributions on fine scale modeler were though... I honestly cannot imagine anyone of that caliber of modeling skills offering up something like this with so many obvious shortcomings...
As for the comment about being an "expert"... in my experience, just about the time you think you are an expert... that's when you step in shi... well, you get the idea...

[+] SS marking ( ? )
>>> Actually , this Waffen SS - Pzr.Div. marking is incorrect for Totenkopf Kursk . The marking "olifant" shows , is for Das Reich Kursk .olifant wrote:I like how he chose the Totenkolf() Division for this. I am pretty sure TK never had an organic Schwerecompanie...and they rarely applied the totenkopf division ID on their tanks...and at Kursk all SS armored tactical insignia was changed for security. IIRC the Totenkopf Kursk insignia looked like this:
_l_l_
Quite the expert

* I'm on a roll here since I'm in the mood for correct markings. *
