More progress and more pictures 8)
I played with a couple projects tonight and one was the Dragon Wagon :) Still working on the turret. I narrowed it down a bit and preped the sides with braces at the top to accept the sides, which are angled ;) Then I got some cool ideas and started adding parts :P Added a radio/intercom and turret controls for movement. Here's a few more Pic.s :D There's more goodies to be added too.

It is taking shape nicely!

I like that new project in the background.
Did you put 2 indy cars together to make it?

Very nice.

This is cool! :D

I like where you're going with it.

I wish I had a bunch of random crap, I'd do this all day. Hell, I'd never get bored!

Painted update !!!

Post by General Blasto » Sun Jun 22, 2008 6:20 pm

Finally, I was able to match the paint using 2 different colors layered :P
Got the cover over the remainder of the passenger compartment and added a couple equipment boxes between the wheels. Plus I added another MG-42 on top of the turret for AA fire and those up close personal AT(anti-troop) action  I have a few more details to add outside and also inside the turret as well as finding some red numbering for the side of the turret and she's ready to take the field 8) Oh yeah, I forgot, I need to make the screen hatches for the top of the turret to prevent gernades, Malatovs, etc from being thrown into the turret during those in-town actions ;) Now here's the latest pictures :D

I think I may have to order one of those from you, what's your website address?

Very nice how you married two different vehicles together into one.

Updated pic.s 8)
I haven't got to the finishing details, yet. And I want to do some mud and dirt weathering too, but got the number and decals on the car body :P

Image

I still need to do the white outline around the number

Image

And here is the decal for the group or division ??? Someone help me out on what these decals are for :? I still like it though :D

Very nice.

The scratch built turret looks fantastic. I need to learn how to work with styreen.

Great work, can't wait to see more.
