I really think xd is dead
First off, XD is not dead.

When the F-86's came out a few years back, I found 4 of the Mitch's Squitch in my local WM. I was the first to find these.
I think weeks went by until I started seeing this plane on Ebay.
So, it can happen, but with these figures it seems almost like a fluke. Could they have been put into a case of older figures? Maybe.
I don't know. The boardmember had pics of them, so they do exsist.

I wait as well :(
It's bad enough to drive you insane  But why should it get so bad :?: I've got hunderds, soon thousands of figures and why, because I want to set up an entire battlefield  It's the heads I badly need because I want all of my figures different, not looking like clones  I mean, you can add mustache, change hair color, add scars, etc. but there's only so much you can do with each head. Yep, evil bay yeilds nothing, at least not yet and WM recon down here is about worthless too :( I hit every wally world between here and Tampa and 50 miles north and south for weeks buying the 2 packs on evilbay and then about 1-2 months later, I found the first dual pak halfway to Tampa and kept cleaning them out until the Wehrmacht dual paks were replaced by DAK ones. So it does take time for the figures to hit the shelves :? I need patiance to be able to wait  Da General

The platoon figs just arrived at my WM a few days ago, so I doubt I will see these for months to come.

So...anything? This is still the only sighting I've heard of.

The lack of ANY Ebay sightings is spooky. I'm still not convinced these figures are even on mass release yet.
I looked at the trap, Ray.

I think you guys are lucky. My locate Wal-mart has never had 2-packs and I have seen the same 2 German Wehrmacht figures for a year. Plus it has been almost 2 years sence I seen anything new in my area.

If anyone needs Germans, I can get them some. They are the S2 blonde version of Private Fritzen Osternoh and Lieutenant Ludwick Odheim.

Same here. Those figures never seem to move. 21c did try to spice up the uniforms aq bit with the "Grossdeutchland" armband and the uniform details, but the overly tanned skin really killed the figure. At least two stores in my area eventually got the Platoon figures, but it took them almost six months from the first sighting...

Same thing in the GNW. These two guys have been clogging the shelves for over a year. Every once in a while I whill buy another Odheim as he is useful as a commander, but you would think that if they put only two figures in a case, they would at least make sure they don't ship 1,000 cases of the same at once. :?

NEW FIGURES ARE OUT!!!!!!

Post by normandy » Sat Jul 26, 2008 10:13 am

Today while at the Wal, hanging on pegs next to the Platoon figs I found the 3 NEW D-DAY figures. I picked up the Wehrmacht Assult gunner and US 30 cal Machine Gunner. I may go back for the US sharp shooter.
I like these figures, good head sculpts... the German needs eyeballs  the 3 I got have the whites painted in but no dots for the eyes.
These were found at the Massapequa Wal Good Luck Guys!

Now Tman and I can sit back and complain for the next 12 months when we can't find these.... :?

Luckily Fritz Osternoh can keep us company. They breed like rabbits on the pegs up here! :P

The Wal I found them in on Sat. had 8 of each which was 24 for total. This was the same number as the Platoon figures when they came out. Back in the day this WalMart would have 5-6 peg full of XD. :?
