They add up quickly!

Post by GIToys » Sat Jun 07, 2008 8:21 am

Just did some major 32 scale armor/artillery reorganization. It totaled 186 pieces. I deboxed them all to save precious space. I used white shipping boxes available at Staples (I was able to fit an average of 6 vehicles per box). It's so easy to accumulate this stuff, especially when you find them on clearance--like that gray Afrika Korps Panzer III...got a bunch of those puppeis. (Just don't tell wifey!)

That isn't so bad. Try and find parking spaces for all the pieces in 1/18th scale. Although difficult at times, still won't make the switch to 1/32 though. :)

I know what you mean...that's why I stopped with 1:18 awhile back (except for the figs, of course). Except for exceptional clearance prices, I have to avert my eyes from 1:18 vehicles and planes.

Given the recent fall in real estate prices now is the best time to buy a display home: one room for 1/32, one for 1/18, one for dioramas, and a large attic/walk in closets for overflow. I have an XD specialist realtor if you are interested.

:D

Could I get one with rooms for 1:18, 1:32, militaria, stereo listening, and jamming?

Oh, if I could also get the red lights they have on battleships, installed in every corner of the house, so I can throw one switch and man my battlestation, of the stereo?
