I'm with you all the way man!
I wrote them an email, telling them that the 1/16th armor business is booming, and that their main rival, Tamiya, is quite active on that scale.
As competitive as Dragon is when it comes to Tamiya, that should light a fire under Dragon's behind to get in on the 1/16th armor business...
Oh wait, were we supposed to them about 1/8th?
Oopsie...

One can only hope. The only problem with Dragon doing some new 1/18 figures, is that they'll most definately have pre sculpted limbs, and lack the kind of articulation that would promote using them in dioramas that aren't strictly of battle scenes.
On the other hand...I think we'd all love to see a Stug in 1/18 scale

Sculpted limbs are alright. When 21st came out with this recently, it was hailed as a great innovative feature.
Nevermind that Dragon had this feature for years, and was considered by many as a "flaw".

Well... it's not 1/18th... but apparently Heng Long will be releasing a 1/16 RC Stug III soon... I just hope it makes to this side of the pond at some point..

I didn't say they were a flaw. I was just expressing my feelings towards the articulation the 21st figures have. I prefer to build dioramas of camps and scenes between/before the actual battles. Army groups moving and so fourth. The articulation on the 21st figures if perfect for this.
I don't mind the pre sculpted limbs, and I do love the new 21st ones. I was buying up the Dragon figures when they first hit, and still do from time to time when I feel an urge to add to my collection. Never really considered it a flaw, here. I normally use my Dragon figures for the few battle scene dios I do put together.
...then again...who wants a dio of Russians just sitting around? Bring on the pre sculpted Russians! haha

When I go to the link, it looks more like a trouble ticket than a suggestion box. I just commented on the last few 1:72 Dragon Armour tanks I got. Quality control was pretty bad on the barrel assemblies. One broken, the other hanging on by a thread. Enough to consider other brands.

The new 21C figs still have articulated limbs, but
also have the best of what Dragon offered - posed legs. This really is cool if you are into figures. Dragon figs needed smaller hands, smaller heads, articulation and some variety and they would be very cool. The weapons were the best.

If that's true, that's awesome. A mortar team is a great idea!
I looked at the trap, Ray.

I would love to see those made.
I sent them a second email asking about those prototypes.

* It's solid enough , Ok ? ... Nothing concrete or written in stone. ... Why all the doubts ? ... Sheesh ! ! ! ... See , this is why I hope Dragon picks up the slack in this scale ,.. "it's a shambles".

I also heard from a reliable source that Dragon once considered heading in to the 1/18th vehicle market, and had some prototypes.
Now I think if we can squeak a bit louder then maybe Dragon will head back into the 1/18th market.
