Nice, but I think we already had a thread about this awhile back.

Here are some more photos of the upcoming FOV 1/16 Sherman. There will be only 1,200 made worldwide with only 750 for North America.

Way too much for me! Things like gas to get to work and pesky habits like eating put this out of reach!
In all honesty though, these things look like works of art and I am sure they are worth every penny.

I believe the price was $500 or something like that. I would love to have one but, I will stick with my 1:32 scale Sherman.

The 1/16 Sherman pre-order is for August.
Prices:
Flyingmule--$449.99 (free shipping)
Foxhole--$449.95
Tt's a beautiful tank---but beyond my budget.

I wish FOV had produced a better 1/18 plastic Sherman instead of the expensive diecast 1/16 Sherman and the minimal $20 1/18 Sherman sold at Target---it would be a great compromise that I would have bought without hesitation.

They did it in 1/16th because there's a much, much, much bigger following of 1/16th armor, than 1/18th.
You can probably snag one off Ebay for around $350-$400.

I hear ya, man. I hear ya.
I'm just worried that these models will have the plastic suspensions and lower hull. I've always wondered why they would bother adding all that metal and all that weight on suspension and suspension arms made of plastic.

Googly, I guess if they make only a quarter or half of the tank of diecast, it can be marketed as diecast. As long as you don't sit on it, the plastic arms should be fine. I've f'ed around with my 1:16 tigers suspension countless times and have yet to break a plastic arm.
