Tuesday Morning Corgi

I received two Historical Legends 1/50 Corgi tanks: a Tiger and a Churchill. Price was only $9.99 each! I have hit all the TMs in my area but none of them have any of these. Has anyone seen them in their AO? I would love to get a Panther, Sherman and most of all a Comet.

The trip was not wasted because I picked up a beautiful Marine B-25 for $39.99.

These were part of an old sale and you were lucky to find those. I have some of the Corgi 1/50 armor pieces that I got from TM during that sale and I would be willing to sell if you want them.

No armor in Detroit area TM's, but I did get the 109!

I also picked up the B-25 in the hopes that someone might be interested in trading or making a deal on a B-17 from a previous TM sale. If interested PM me.

Olifant, I should have mentioned how long ago I bought those tanks and what a huge pack rat I am. My sheds look like the warehouse from Indiana Jones. I have a Sherman but I only have the one them. I must have one of everything!

Thanks Mark! I have been combing all the local TMs looking for these and going nuts since there are none to be found.

Does Tuesday Morning sell Corgi 1/72 B-24 Liberators and B-17 Flying Fortresses?....If so, what are the prices?

My local Tuesday Morning store seemed to have several of them last weekend. What exactly are you looking for and I'll check again. 1/64 HMMWV and Abrams, 1/72 planes B-17, B-25 or B-26 (sorry, don't remember) C-130, some Mustangs, but I don't remember what scale. I can check again. As it turns out, I may have a friend who works there, I'll see if she can manage any info (or discounts).

The current issue planes at Tuesday Morning is the PBJ Marine B-25, you might be able to find one, but they have been out for a few months now.

IMHO, the best B-17s and B-24s are (in no particular order):

Strawberry B*tch B-24
Memphis Belle B-17
Bit-o-lace B-17
Sleepy Time B-24
Dragon and his Tail B-24
Nine-O-Nine B-17
Coastal Command B-24

Just an FYI, if you don't have a problem with paying full retail price but with free shipping, theflyingmule.com has many of the rare ones in stock right now.

IIRC, the B-25's are selling for $29.99 if you can find them. The B-17s and B-24s are not there anymore.

All my Tuesday Morning carries is crap. And if you do find an appealing piece its either broken or half the parts are missing. I checked that place about 20 times and I finally put it next to K-Mart on my "don't bother" list of stores.

Just occured to me that you might be talking about the Flying Mule rather than Tuesday Morn. The B-17's and B-24s are selling for $149.99 shipped which is a great deal on many of the rare ones.

I thought the Coast Guard planes were both interesting. There were also 2 Corgi 1:32 WWII ground crew soldiers, both the same, some guy standing around with a small bomb. They looked good, but not terribly useful for me in my (mostly) modern settings. If anyone is interested in any of this, let me know and we can work something out.

It's just off of 198, in what used to be called the Von's shopping center. I guess now it would be in the "for lease" center. If memory serves me it's between Linwood and Chinowith.

How often do you get down here? Do you want me to grab them and hold them? Let me know.
