My son and I will be there on the 7th. I have heard many good things about this gathering. Too bad the RAF is having troubles.

Just got back to CT from PA, and the show...I go on Friday's to avoid the crowds and get some good one on one with the guest and re-enactors. This said it was nice to see the STUG that they used in Band of Brothers and a KannonWagon...
Good show, missing a few planes on Friday, hope they made it in for the weekend...

All I can say is WOW!!!! Next year I will hope to go for two days instead of one. All of the re-enactors are great to talk to and there is too much to see and do for one day. I will post some pictures later on.

If any of you were involved with the re-enacting - Job well done!

The re-enactors are the best....However when my son and I were walking around the German encampment, Fallschirmjäger....we were listening to them talk to this older gent and lo and behold he was a real German Para who went into Crete....he ad some interesting stories, including how his major was captured and executed by the Greeks...It was also neat to hear him tell the re-enactors different ways to dress and they had little things wrong with their outfits....that guy was pretty cool. Good time...

Here are my shots from the event, with an obvious bias towards the 9th SS' reenactment area and equipment.

Overall, a pretty good show, hot as blazes, but the public really liked our display, so its all worth it in the end.
