Loose gear on FW190As??

Post by mikeg » Mon May 26, 2008 6:42 pm

Only one gear on my two new As will stay up and that is iffy. I suppose I could glue something to the near fusilage for a friction fit between the wheel and the inner wheel well... Maybe a tiny strip of velro trimmed down just enough to catch the wheel and hold it

Neither of mine will stay up either. I put a small piece of Plasti-Tak putty on each wheel and it works like a charm. Comes right off too. I got it from Hobby Lobby, it has a million uses. 8)

IIRC, you can push up the leading edge of the landing gear and it will "snap" into place. If not, you can always use blu-tak or tape.

Mine also did this, but it's all the way at the top of the ceiling, doesn't bother me much. But, now that you just had to give me a solution, I may just fix it with sticky tac!
