Mitch, are you subtly telling us you like the Tiger scheme? 
I bought the Chaffee because it looked like a new scheme. It was, but unfortunately it was the same "watermark" brown as the Sherman. Not really my favorite, but hey, it was something new.
What I would really like to see is a twin 40MM Duster. I keep waiting to win and ebay bid on the model but I refuse to pay more than $20 for it. That would go wonderfully with a Korea scheme Pershing.

Yep. I sold one not too long ago on ebay.... in none too great a condition either... it wasn't trashed or anything, but I picked it up at a garage sale, and it was missing some parts, had been partially re-painted, and so forth.... it went for about $50 plus shipping, so a "minty" OOB might bring more, because they are getting kinda scarce now in any condition. With regard to the Tiger faces...frankly, I want my tank to look like a combat vehicle...not a canvas for Avant Garde artwork...LOLanyone sold and out of the box Pershing lately to see what it goes for?

M26 paint schemes...
1) I've never seen a whitwashed Pershing in all my references. They came into action too late to need whitewash type camo.
2) the "Tiger" scheme was a brief attempt to raise the morale of US troops for a UN counteroffensive against the ChiComs. There were a number of versions used and they definely appeared on M4A3E8s as well as the most complete paint jobs, like the one shown, which were M46 "Pattons" of the 6th Tank Battalion. As time went on the Tiger faces were not repainted and wore off or were painted over. There may have been some M26s that received "tiger faces" but as yet I haven't seen a verified historical photo.
3) Some one mentioned wanting an M42 "Duster" for Korea? Wrong - the M42 was not produced in time to see any action in Korea. Its earlier "cousin" the M19 did. The M19 was a similar twin 40mm mount on the aft end of a modified M24 chassis.
4) US olive drab paint. Vehicles in Korea used WW2 OD. Later in the 50's OD was restandardized as a darker greener color and was often used semi-gloss (prettier in garrison).
5) A USMC M26 in Korea could be in the Marine Corps' dark green vehicular paint with yellow numbers and tac signs.
The FoV M26 is one of their more accurate US models. Let's hope it becomes available again - but AFTER they release the long promised GI 6X6 truck! Of course my local dealer dropped a bomb yesterday when he saiod that the MSRP for the CCKW is to be $49.99.
