I have yet to see a IJ truck. I have been very patient, knowing that once the hoarders have gotten their fill I can slip in and meet all my OKW needs. But after three weeks? I am getting very very nervous...and I refuse to spoil the hunt with on-line purchases. I want, for once, to find what I want on a lark. Lord knows these have been trying times for 21C collectors.

The movie's not even out yet... I think panicing is a bit premature.
In my neck of the woods, only WM is restocking heavily while Target is its usual wishy washy self with reshipments. They'll get stuff in, but they seem to take forever. TRU I haven't been to in ages because it's too far away to get to one.
Hasbro says IJ is here for the longhaul though, and rarely do any $20 vehicles in Star Wars become "rare", so I wouldn't worry much.

I went into TRU today to check out the "Buy 2 Get 3rd Free" deal and while there, ran into the local Hasbro Rep, with clipboard in hand, checking the stocking of their products. Talked to her a little about the IJ line and although she didn't seem to be well versed on any particular details she was very talkative! TRU had NO IJ vehicles at that store. She summoned a sales person who informed us that they had sold all the vehicles they had! The Rep. told me that they seem to be limited because of the way they are packaged and shipped all of which did not sink into this old mans brain. And the best seller has been the Whip because of the sound and music theme. She also informed me that there will be a Motorcycle with side car!!
And there would be a restocking of all the Indy stuff later in the year! That's what they say now, but whos to know!

So I should be getting my cargo truck from walmart in the next few days. I did the Ship to the store deal so i wouldn't have to pay for shipping. But heres the catch. I had to wait 2 and half weeks for it to go from NY to MA. talk about terrible shipping. hope this thing is worth it. I also picked up 2 motorcycles. there not to bad. but they don't have a kick stand.

What I'm finding
I have been finding tons of German 2-packs (especially at Targets). It looks like both Walmart and Target have done a good job of restocking everything.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, Russian soldiers are no longer "rare". It's easy to pick up 2-3 at just about any location now. Makes me feel like a chump for going overboard on them when they first came out...
This should be interesting to see how it all plays out now. I'm thinking we may be looking at over-saturation at this point. Which could be good in a couple months, when they reduce prices to clear inventory.

I got lucky, and found the truck at this tiny Wal Mart in my home town -- which is also, tiny. I also found the staff car, but didn't buy that. I haven't seen it or the staff car anywhere else since.
Stores like that are always best for finding the "hard to find" stuff, cause the toy collecting crowd usually isn't as vibrant there.

After seeing the film, I can see why Hasbro made the Jungle Cutter with its moving blades and funky looks, but that thing was only in the film for about 30 seconds before getting blown up. The greater part of the action for the jungle scene took place on the GPA Amphibions, which would have been a neater choice for a vehicle, in my opinon. They could have even been made to float!

The easy way for this to happen is to post all Indiana Jones Toys talk in here instead of new threads left and right. If that had happened, this thread would've never fallen out of favor...
