oh .. my .. aching wallet!!

I just checked in to cyber hobby this morning & ordered the 2 challengers PLUS the two planes that came with those nice lookin kubelwagens.

Now I find out there is MORE to buy ...

Like the look of the new set up though, with the realistic base and all.

Cheers - Pete

Somehow I'm thinking the modern won't be as popular as lets say, the Wittmann tanks..lol

Latest Armor

Post by lightning2000 » Sun Apr 24, 2005 7:24 pm

Here, here. Besides being modern armor as opposed to WWII vehicles, I'm just a little concerned by the fact that they're identical to the pieces that have already been released in the regular Dragon Armor series. Its almost as if they're taking any excess inventory they might have on hand, throwing in a base and some other nuances, then calling it a limited edition piece. Not exactly my idea of selling truly unique limited edition products. But hey, if they sell and people like 'em then that's what counts.

The Bradley and Abrams that are included in the CyberHobby Exclusive diorama sets may be in the upcoming Iraq sets of Bradleys and Abrams, but they are not the same as any of the Abrams and Bradleys that are in circulation. i.e. The only green camouflage Abrams was with the mine-plow and the Bradley is different than the sand colored that was initially offered.

I think the line would be better if they stuck with truly "Historical" subjects, such as Wittmann, and perhaps down the line do Patton, Montgomery, Rommel etc etc. Sorry, but Gen O. Bradley and Gen. C. Abrams just werent that colorful! lol
