This guy in the wheelchair with the KT...... what the heck is he gonna do with it????
It's Ginormous, no doubt about it... wonder if it's RC or not, and what scale...it's hard to tell from the pic, but it looks a tad too small to be 1:6th huh..?? I seem to remember a thread here a while back... some outfit in Germany (I think) was making 1:1 (or close to it) fully operational replica Tiger tanks, with non-firing guns of course. 8) For the big Kid who has everything... including too much money eh...??

That is not correct JJ. He was buying on credit and missed some payments. Guido came over and roughed him up a little, breaking his legs, hence the wheelchair.

several weeks ago we were promised an update on the KT by the end of the week, yet we've heard nothing for a long time now. Wonder if the discussion about the price tag has anything to do with the silence?

Good point Capt.
There is hardly any mention on 21st's web site lately about ANYTHING 1/18th other than the new Stuka. Also we haven't heard much from TKO lately either  But then again, I don'tusually read the aircraft threads. It's understandable that the price of KTs and even the 88s would be higher due to new molds, but over inflating a re-run of the panther by more than doubling the price was unheard of  Now perhaps if 21st would include a full set of NEW German tank crews(new uniforms and head sculpts)with the new KTs and panthers, I would be more likely to buy more than a couple KTs and new Panthers. Hey, just an idea  It really IS something to make y'all wonder though :? I just say this out of concern and am not bashing 21st C ;) Da General

BTW I DO like 21sts products :) I have over 70 of their tanks and well over 500 of their troops :P Enough to make ya wanna start a war

They're probably po'd at everyone here and aren't going to make anything anymore... waaaaahhhh... :P

Seriously though, I've come to sort of expect a certain ammount of silence from them. What they ought to consider is a structured Q&A of some sort they're willing to do periodically and stick with.

Well, remember what TKO said:
tko211 wrote:21C does indeed read this forum as well as myself. The fan opinion here does count for something. Lets see how this all plays out. In the end if prices are set too steep and you choose not to purchase or you simply can't make the purchase than that will eventually come out in the wash. But for now I believe 21C will continue to build better and better models even if they have to be sold at a premium price through specialty stores to the more serious collector. It will be interesting to see where it all goes.
Who knows? Maybe they're improving the design of their KT...

Nah. They're surely working on the box artwork instead.

yeah, right...

It probably got held up by a Chinese push to manufacture riot control gear and such to deal with that pesky "Tibet problem". Or the latest knock off of American products for sale on the black market and at the dollar store.

Maybe they went out of business...

I don't think anyone's brought that up in at least a month.

Drat...you mean a civil discussion whether a $100 price tag is worth it would make 21st go tight-lipped? That's just plain sad if that's true. :o

Oh noes...I take it all back then.

Let's just all be 21st cheerleaders. Go 21st go! Hooooray! If 21st can't do it, no one can! Go team go!

Maybe some of us can put on skirts and squeee over how faboo 21st is. :D
