What is the psychology?

Post by dandaman » Sat Apr 19, 2008 2:02 pm

I have been wondering this for some time now. Whenever I go to Toys R Us, I see pegs full of kneeling DAK figures. Why are there so many left? What is the psychology? If I were younger and had the money, I would buy up every last one. So why aren't people snatching them up? They're peg warmers!!! It doesn't make any sense! Someone please explain why this is.

I don't know what part of the country your in, but down here there were none until lately and then there was only 4 MG guys. I bought them all from that one store, but none of the other stores have them. I think TRU is all screwed up. Most Miltary figure hook are Empty at most of the stores down here :( Gen. Blasto

No DAK nor are there any Dual Pack figures around here.
You maybe one of the lucky few who found these figures. It seems its just a matter of distribution or the lack of..........

Perhaps I may be able to trade some DAK Machine gunners to folks who can find some troops I need. As I said before, the nice thing about this forum is that we can help each other out ;) :) 8) Da General

I'm not sure what figure you are referring to, but there is one newer single-carded DAK figure, that has the kneeling legs and some blue-ish highlights on the lower legs, that I am confident was shipped to the stores in solid case packs which would explain why there are so many of that one figure and nothing else. That figure has never been seen in any assortment to date.

Re: "No DAK ... nor Dual Pack figures around here..." I haven't seen any Dual Packs ever, but Holbrook, Brentwood & Stony Brook TRUs have the kneeling DAK MG guy...
